====== Settings ====== Setting tab in BIPLUS has several features and these features are report specific. However most of the features are common for all reports. The following screen shot is displaying **Settings** tab and its features. * **Alias:** Allows the user to select Alisa Report. If you select Alias report you may not need to write SQL queries. All data from selected alias report(with all settings) is brought into current report. If one select Alias report then few features are disabled for that report. * **Global Expression:** Some expressions are used multiple time so rather than defining them in each report, just define them once globally. Global Expressions are defined in **Admin ⇒ Global Expression** menu. User can select Global Expression from here. * **Parameters for Notes:** Parameter specific/dependent notes can be enabled. After running report if a note is added for specific parameter value then that note is visible when the same parameter value selected again. * **Report Theme:** Allows the user to select a report theme for the current report. Selected **Theme** will be applied to current report only. * **Drilldown Type:** On drilldown operation behavior of drilldown is set here. Drilldown type is selected in **Settings** tab of parent report for the behavior of the child drilldown report. * If **Same Tab** selected, drilldown report will be opened same tab. * If **pop-up** is selected then on drilldown report will be opened as pop-up dialog. * **Full Screen** type is mostly selected for Dashboard report, where multiple reports are in a single window. This opens drilldown report in Full Screen mode. * As the name specifies **New Tab** opens drilldown report in new tab. * **Cache Expires:** Cache expire flag is to be set here. After selected period of time cache in the memory will expire. * **User Specific Caching:** Enables User specific caching. * **User can Refresh Cache:** Allows the user to refresh the cache. After report run, **Right click ⇒ Refresh Report & cache**. * **Retain Days:** Specifies how many days report cache should be retained. * **Refresh Interval:** Default auto refresh interval (in seconds) is to be set here. Auto refresh feature is in report menu of Reporter interface. * **Email As:** When the reoprt is emailed How report is send mention here. Email As supports **Attachement, Zip file, Link**. * **Orientation:** Exported report's orientation(Portrait, Landscape) can be set here. * **Output Format:** Output format for Scheduled/Email as report is set here. Formats supported are HTML, PDF, XML, RTF, Excel, Text, CSV, Token Seperated, Word and User Selected. * **Width:** Width of child report when used as a pop-up or hierarchical report. * **Height:** Height of child report when used as a pop-up or hierarchical report. * **Features:** Allows the user to enable/disable some reporter features for the current report. Like Open, Print, Save can be disabled. * **Misc Settings:** Misc setting features are report type dependent. They appear differently for different type of report. * AUTO_FIT_COLUMN_WIDTH: * CLEAR-DEPENDENT-PARA: * COMPOSITE-DYNAMIC-CHILD: * CUSTOMER-HEADER: Defined Customer header will be displayed above report name after report run. * DOMAIN-AXIS-MARGIN: Sets domain axis margin in bar chart, values have to be set in pixel. * EMPTY-REPORT-DATA: * EXPORT-IN-ONE-SHEET: Combine all composite or combined master details child in one excel sheet. * EXPORT-COLUMN-HEADER: Enable/Disables columns's header in exported report. * EXPORT-REPORT-HEADER: Enable/Disables report's header in exported report. * EXPORT-REPORT-TITLE: Enable/Disables report's title in exported report. * EXPORT-TABLE-AUTO-FIT: Auto fit the table content on export report to Word type. * EXPORT-TOKEN: Specify the token to be used while exporting a report to Token Separated file format. * FILE-NAME: Default file name 'SAVE AS' operation will be performed. * MIN-COLUMN-WIDTH: Sets minimum column width for a Table report. * PARA-DIALOG-COLUMN: Indicates number of parameter to be show in a line in the parameter prompt dialog. * PARA-REPORT-COLUMN: Indicates number of parameter to be show on report when Show parameter on report is enabled. * PRINT-GAP-BOTTOM: Sets the height of the gap to be shown between the child reports for combined and composite reports on print. If value set as **PAGE** shows the child report in the next page. * PRINT-MARGIN_X: Sets X- axis margin on print. * PRINT-MARGIN_Y: Sets Y- axis margin on print. * REPORT-DISK-CACHE: Determines if cache need to be saved on disk for data objects in BIPlus. * REOPRT-HEIGHT: Sets the height for child reports of Combined detail and composite reports. * REPORT-TITLE-HEIGHT: Sets the report title height. * ROW-HEIGHT: Sets row height for table report in pixels. * SHOW-REPORT-BORDER: * SIDE-BORDER-COLOR: Sets border color on the left side of the report. * SIDE-BORDER-WIDTH: Sets the width for border which appears on the left side of the report. * SIMPLE_EXCEL_EXPORT: Sets simple excel format on export. * TABLE_HEADER_HEIGHT: Set the table header height. * USE-TIMESTAMP-PARA: * USE_SAME_FONT_ON_REPORT: Uses same font on exporting report in PDF format.
